These pages advertise cattle for sale that are owned by members of the New Zealand Highland Cattle Society. These animals are offered by the owners themselves, and not the Society as a whole.
Please contact the owners direct for more information about the animals. You can also check the pedigrees of the registered cattle on our Online Herdbook.
To be able to have the registrations of these cattle transferred to your name, you must be a member of the New Zealand Highland Cattle Society. To find out how to do this please visit our Society Pages.

Advertising Cattle for Sale
If you want to advertise your Cattle for Sale on these pages, please click on the List Classified link in the left hand menu.
Note that to be able to list animals for sale:
- You must be a member of the New Zealand Highland Cattle Society
- Your animal must be registered or eligible to be registered with the Society (only exception are steers)
- Photos must not be larger than 3 Mb
- As the owner of the animal, you are responsible for keeping the listing up to date, and it may be removed after 3 months (you will receive a reminder email prior to this date)
- The listing will not be displayed on the website until the Secretary has approved it
- Any transfers of animals sold are the responsibility of the previous owner
